ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS + HOW TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT:  

Payment terms:  Strictly 30 days net.  Wholesalers should call 01777 869044 or write to open an account. A credit account can be opened following the placement of THREE initial "Paid with order" purchases over £500.00 ex vat and following the receipt and acceptance of our completed account application form submitted with two trade references.  We accept payment by BACS, transfer, credit card (please 'phone us) and if you prefer to pay by a cheque please make please it payable to "Lifetime Education Ltd".

  

PRICE

All prices quoted exclude VAT and exclude delivery charges. We will not be held liable for errors in catalogues due to prices. Our prices are valid for 12 months only, January to December unless there are special arrangements in place.

 

SUPPLY

We guarantee all our products for one year from the date of purchase and offer a no quibble repair or replacement guarantee for all parts and labour. You can rely on the fact that the product we make for you is to the highest standards. Our terms and conditions will adhere to the sale of goods act and distance selling regulations. Most items in our range we make to order here in the UK, for this reason WE DO NOT offer refunds or sale or return.

 

ENSURE YOUR CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS THE PRODUCT. Remember that the relatioship is between you and your customer, we are supplying YOU not THEM. It is your job to understand what you are buying. We will help but please ensure you/your customer understands the product in question and agrees to assemble as required and has measured the space in which you are going to use the product and have contacted us to ensure you have all the necessary information available prior to making your purchase.

 

Designs are similar to the products displayed on our web site but colours may vary and we reserve the right to update our designs without notice.

 

Any returns that may be accepted except under guarantee may attract a £25.00 ex vat per package restocking charge.

DELIVERY INFORMATION AND POST AND PACKAGING CHARGES: (apply to all customers except for export customers and wholesalers)

 

1) Post and Packing charges: note there may be re-delivery or restocking charges if you are not in to receive a parcel or if you return it to us. See below.

 

A number of our soft play sets are shipped in two three, or four packs. There is a post and packing charge per pack, but you will not be charged more than £25.00 ex vat per order. Our post and packing charges are: £12.50 ex vat first package per order, £7.50 ex vat second pack and each subsequent pack to the same address.

 

Small items (eg spares) post and packing is £5.00 ex vat per order.

 

For all locations outside the UK, packing and delivery charges are by individual quotation - please contact customer services info@lifetimeeducation.co.uk

 

2) Delivery times: (all quoted times are approximate and we will not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control e.g. post, couriers  or freight carrier errors).

 

As most supply is on a "made to order" basis it can take 8+ weeks at peak times of year (Feb to June) (up to 4-6 weeks at other times) for us to make your goods. If you need fast service or need delivery for a particular date please call send details with your order - if we can we will deliver next day. We will deliver to any address in the British Isles and Northern Ireland. We use national carriers, such as Nightfreight or Parcelforce who do not deliver Saturdays or Sundays, unless by special arrangement, extra charges will apply if you want delivery at these times. Normal in transit time is 3 days from despatch from our warehouse.

 

If you have a special requirement please make sure we know about it at the time of placing your order.

  

3) Re delivery charges:

 

If the parcel gets sent back to us because you did not contact the carrier, a re-delivery charge of £12.50 ex vat per item may be applied

 

4) Returns not under guarantee:

Any returns except under guarantee may attract a £25.00 ex vat per package restocking charge... ie we may charge you £50.00 ex vat to pick up 2 packages, £75.00 ex vat for 3 etc etc. If the goods are not received back in "resalable/good as new" condition you will be charged the full value of the original invoice. We want to ensure the goods you have received are those that you ordered and that they are in first class condition, if you have any problems/issues please contact us on 01777 869044

 

5) Damage in transit. All goods must be inspected on receipt. If we have not been notified of an error or problem within 7 days of a signed receipt of a delivery we will assume the order has been accepted.
