4) INTRODUCTION TO THE TEAM (4/6: SEE VIEW ALL)

The original Playring and Giant Playring designs are by Catherine M. O'Neill, who subsequently designed the Galt Baby Nest, which inspired Tomy's 100 Acre Wood Baby Nest and Gym. Catherine is an author and practicing speech and art therapist.

Developments of the "Playrings" , Square Den, Expandable Sensory House, Mirror Trail, Sensory Mats etc are collaborative design projects between Catherine, and the design team at Life-Ed (Andrew, daughter Natalie, ). Andrew and Natalie have designed the rest of the Life-Ed and Playring ranges (activity mats, nesty nooks, mirrors, stickers, furniture, room divider screens and soft play shapes). Hayley looks after customer service and is part of the design quality assessment panel. Our gym products are also all assessed and used by Sylvia Crewe, PE teacher and BAGA instructor.

The production team, Ann, Sue, Dean, Sian, Katrina, Julie, another Sue, Theresa, Jeanette, and Vicky all live locally and have been involved in sewing and production for most of their working lives which ranges from many years to just one year for Vicky!
